Rextail, Mayfair
Rextail is a fabulous high-end restaurant in Mayfair’s Albemarle Street, opened by Russian restaurateur Arkady Novikov. It has received critical acclaim for its unique style, slick service, a good bar and cocktail list, an intriguing soundtrack and dishes that are simple but perfectly executed.
Commissioned to design and install the audio, Marquee AV provided a high-end solution in keeping with the standard of the restaurant.
The audio system is digitally controlled by a Biamp Nexia network processor, with Biamp remote control wall panels strategically located for simple control and ease of use by the restaurant’s staff. iPod docking points are provided in the bar and dining area and in the control room.
Virtually invisible K-Array micro loudspeakers are used to provide mid and high frequencies. These are complemented by ultra-slim high power K-Array subwoofers, stylishly flown from the ceiling to complete the full frequency audio bandwidth. With a 500W 8-channel EV power amplifier, the K-Array system provides outstanding high fidelity audio that is seamless throughout the restaurant.
