Yakitoria Restaurant

Situated in the vibrant new community of Paddington Central, the Yakitoria restaurant and bar has created a loyal fan base amongst local workers and the residents of nearby Little Venice and Notting Hill, as well as sushi and sake lovers from across London.

Winner of a Remy Martin Restaurant Award for London 2007, in association with Harden’s Restaurant Guide and Winner of ‘Best Design’ at Time Out Eating & Drinking Awards 2007, Yakitoria continues to gain a reputation for its experienced and knowledgeable team, its dedication to the highest quality ingredients and innovation in Japanese cuisine.

Yakitoria comprises two large floors. The ground floor holds a comfortable, chic dining area decorated in black and grey as well as cerise pinks and wasabi greens. Dark wood tables, ergonomically designed furniture, a wooden floor and high ceilings with large windows overlooking the canal create a light and airy feel.

Yakitoria Mizu is the brand new lounge bar and private dining and event space, in the large and airy downstairs of Yakitoria, designed by the distinguished architects David d’Almada Limited.

There is also a sushi bar with a Kushi Yaki Japanese open grill. Marquee AV provided a discreet, high quality sound system to meet the high design specification of the project.

The system is C-Burn hard-disk based with Cloud control and QSC amplifiers driving EAW loudspeakers. For functions, the basement zone also includes Logic subwoofers and has a DJ input facility. Plasma screens from Fujitsu and NEC were also supplied and installed by Marquee.
