The Adonia – Marine AV Installation
The Adonia is the smallest ship in the P&O fleet, carrying just 710 passengers and creating a more intimate and personal cruise experience. With wood-style panelling, a grand staircase and traditional artworks, Adonia’s ambience and décor are in keeping with the traditions of cruising yet, being a 21st century ship built in 2001, there is modernity to her beautifully crafted detailing.
The Royal Lounge received a substantial upgrade with the installation of a Yamaha mixing desk, additional loudspeakers from JBL and amplifiers from QSC. Further lighting was installed and a Sanyo projector with an electronically operated projection screen.
A high quality audio system was installed in the Piano Bar, with Audica Professional loudspeakers and amplifiers, an Allen & Heath mixer, Ateis DSP and Sennheiser radio microphones. Additional lighting and lighting control was also installed.
The Forward Lounge Theatre benefitted from an upgrade of lighting, on stage music system and a stage and front of house digital multicore system and the ships restaurants were also upgraded with Brennan MP3 hard disk players.
Full configuration and equalisation of all the ships system was undertaken, with system mutes and safety cut-off checks, as the final part of commissioning by Marquee AV.
