Sevenoaks School – Performing Arts Centre

Sevenoaks School (HMC) is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11‑18. Founded in 1432, Sevenoaks provides academic excellence with a strong pastoral and co-curricular emphasis and a global dimension inspired by the International Baccalaureate. Half an hour from Central London it is situated on an attractive 100-acre campus adjoining Knole Park.

The School’s newly completed Performing Arts Centre provides facilities for music and drama with the ability to attract world class performers and many other exciting opportunities for the school, and on occasions for the local community.

The Performing Arts Centre includes:

The Pamoja Hall, an auditorium providing a world-class concert hall for choral and orchestral performances, with an audience capacity of nearly 450 on raked seating;

The renovated Sackville Theatre, providing space for larger drama productions; A recital room for more intimate chamber music performance with an audience capacity of about 100;

The Ordovksy-Tanaevsky Drama Studio which provides flexible space for drama productions and audience seating for up to 100; Seventeen individual sound-proofed teaching rooms;

The Moskovenko Drums Room and Recording Studio;

The Pisarev World Music Room for instruments from about the world;

Generous foyer space, close to an outdoor terrace that provides additional space for teaching or hospitality use.

Marquee AV was appointed to supply the theatre AV infrastructure for many of the venues within the Performing Arts Centre, including the Recital room, Studio, Auditorium and Sackville Theatre. The systems designed and installed by Marquee include BOH and FOH paging, stage managers systems and cue lights.
