Soho House

Soho House is a members club in London, offering club rooms and function space over four floors to people in film, media and the arts. The facilities provide a service to the industry for business use for press launches, meetings, interviews and photo shoots and for entertaining for lunches, dinners, drinks and parties.

In addition to the club rooms, consisting restaurants, dining rooms and bars as well as a cinema and roof terrace, some of the rooms are available to non-members for private hire. These include the oak and leather first floor restaurant, a large second floor bar and a smaller meeting room and the third floor 27-seat cinema. Situated on the 4th floor and overlooking the bustling streets of Soho, the Roof Deck is one of the most diverse spaces within the building offering a cosy private bar and a terrace area with heating and retractable roof.

Marquee AV designed and installed the audio throughout Soho House. In keeping with the standard of the facilities, and also for clientèle whose industry is associated with professional sound, audio quality was a critical objective. This had to be aesthetically discreet and truly multi-functional, as any room could be used for any purpose from social meeting to product launch to full-on party.

A C-Burn hard-disk media player provides continuous background music at the touch of a button. Throughout the function rooms, Marquee has chosen a combination of Bose and RCF loudspeakers as most appropriate in each location. These are driven throughout by QSC amplifiers and Cloud electronics provide total system flexibility with the simplest possible control.
