Marquee One Install – The Hilton London Tower Bridge
The Hilton London Tower Bridge is on the doorstep of the city’s financial and shopping districts and in recent months the prominent bar area has seen an increase in private functions. The space needed an audio solution to transform it from being a background ‘soundtrack’ to a prominent music experience for events. As decoration works were already planned, any solution needed to be completed in a short timeframe.
Due to the timeframe requested by the client, Marquee One timed the installation of the equipment to be during the planned ceiling works – minimising disruption for the hotel guests. The solutions to the challenge included:
- running an additional cabling infrastructure, allowing for multiple zones of audio throughout the bar, giving the hotel the option to hire out more flexible spaces
- ceiling loudspeakers from Bose were chosen as they deliver high-quality audio –more suitable for louder performance requirements during functions
In addition, Marquee One added Bluetooth connectivity using the Attereo Tech Bluetooth interface, so that Hilton guests connect their own devices for playback during events, creating a more personal experience.
