Bose Professional MA12EX Column Speakers
We recently installed these brilliant products in The Battlebridge Room at Kings Place, a stunning space for hosting various events, such as conferences, receptions, dinners, and weddings. The room is flooded with natural light and has a private, covered terrace overlooking the Regent’s Canal, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for the guests.
The slim and stylish MA12EX Column array speakers from Bose Professional complement the room, featuring luxurious touches of copper, marble and light wood. Although these features are visually appealing, the reflective nature create challenges when designing a sound system. However, the MA12EX speakers provide outstanding vocal intelligibility in acoustically demanding spaces.
Equipped with 12 full-range drivers that deliver wide horizontal coverage of 160 degrees and narrow vertical pattern control, “throw” distance is improved and unwanted floor/ceiling reflections are reduced.

The Battlebridge Room, at Kings Place features large windows covering the back of the room, that look onto Regent’s Canal and City Skyline. This reflects the sound in the room so was considered when selecting audio equipment.
The column speakers now slot neatly beside the screens at the front of the room, and provide balanced sound coverage in the reflective space whilst remaining consistent with the clean, tidy aesthetic of the room.
Although weatherproofing was not required in this particular venue, these versatile speakers can be used outdoors, due to weather-resistant. The speakers use wireless microphones and a powerful and scalable audio platform to deliver clear, intelligible speech and music.
